Colourful Guizhou

There are many minorities living in the Guizhou province, the province I live in.
A while ago, I posted many photos from a Miao minority village near Kaili, where I went on a trip with some colleagues from school.
Since there are many more minorities, they present themselves in a show 5 times a week. The show takes place in the Grand Theatre of Guiyang and is very colourful.
The music is mesmerising and the colours and performances are incredibly beautiful. There is an announcer, who explains what you see and gives plenty of info, but unfortunately for us, it is all in Mandarin, so we didn't understand a word.
At the end of the show, the audience is invited to go on stage and dance with the performers.

The Chinese use a device instead of clapping their hands.

Here they walk through the hall, and we were lucky enough to sit there where they passed by.

The end of the show. Now follows the invitation to go on stage and dance with the performers.
    Some funny signs.

Some videos of the show. (won't show or play on iPads and iPhones)

If you would like to read more by me, here are my novel and my diary from Ar'ar, in the northern Saudi desert. Both available on Amazon as soft and hard copy.
